It looks like the grit has formed holes rather than scratches. You can get wax filler sticks which you can rub over and fill the holes. It won't completely hide it but it will improve it a lot....

saw easi bind being sold on ebay the other day if i`m right, never use it myself , cut and bind myself much quicker works out about 10p a mtr ish
Anyone heard the rumour that Armstrong are withdrawing from residential vinyl in the UK next year? Rhinofloor, Popular Choice etc.? I'm not sure I trust my source.....
