Magnetic Karndean.
I recieved an email regarding a new way of installing Lvts by laying a wet "magnetic field".Whence dry then lay the planks/tiles into the subfloor without the need for a adhesive sermon, and the floor can be lifted and relayed including a 10 year guarantee. The subfloor field dries within an hour allowing minimal disruption(apparently).

Re: Magnetic Karndean.
Yeh i seen that as well
Looks very interesting
Does away with the need for any sort of adhesive, as the 'magnetic'' field applied to the subfloor holds it fast
Did i read right that every karndean product has the magnetisation applied to them?

Re: Magnetic Karndean.
Why don't they develop a useful product like an adhesive that does away with the need for featheredge.

Re: Magnetic Karndean.
yeah. i heard about this. cant wait to see how it works. upside is easy change tiles, no more mess, and get some magnetic shoes for the kids to stick them in one place. (or on another note, reverse the poles for a wicked levetation party trick alla back to the future skateboard style). downside im sure there will be problems with it gapping and shrinking. and a proper blade blunter alert.
